Human activities have immensely affected the planet. This is evident in the rising temperatures around the world, desertification of the savanna, reduced rainfalls leading to famine and drought, rapid melting of the glaciers and increased natural disasters. Young Leaders Network seeks contribute its quota through: Improved education, awareness-raising and human/institutional capacity building on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning. This we hope will encourage environmental conservation among the populace, reduce the rate of climate change in northern Nigeria, promote a greener society in the northeast through awareness raising on climate change and actions to promote greener environment, join National and Global Voices on climate action matters and promote Waste to wealth culture in Nigeria and beyond.
